Here is a pre-eat pic and a random hilarious picture of a mini-pumpkin bread as compared to papa white bread!

Thanksgiving Day Casey got up really early and made homemade dinner rolls, gravy, turkey, mashed AND sweet potatoes (sweet ones just for my sweet tooth!), green beans, corn, and two kinds of stuffing. Most of that stuff from scratch! He loves it, that Chef Casey!

We had our two friends over Penni and Alisa and had a good time watching the Colts (napping a Colts?) and took In Evan Almighty and some old western movie called Westward Women - hilarious and even in color!

Busy preparations today for going back to school tomorrow, but all is well and good when looking at just 3 weeks of fast school time, then exams and outta there for Christmas break.

It always seems the first semester is here, and here, and then all the sudden gone. The second semester is WAY faster! Such is life, I see.

Today we went to church and got a clue about having responsibilities again. You know like the responsibility of getting out of bed and going somewhere in a car for reasons of duty and notions. It was nice, but it was abrupt to my relaxed mind. No need to explain, why am I trying? The work week is upon us!

Hope you Thanksgivings were wonderous! Have a good week!

Thankgiving 2007 was one of pure rest and relaxation.

One where we (I at least) could get back to being me! I've been hanging out in our back office redecorating, relaxing, playing with music, writing, reading, and of course basketball plans. I have so many fun plans surrounding real life and that basketball world, that it was nice to finally sit back and relax with it, with no one around, no to answer to, no one to communicate with. Yes, it is true, being silent is wonderful! :)

I am thankful for the time with Casey and the cute, cute furry dogs! We had a great meal, that Casey prepared all day Thursday, and have been watching all the Star Wars episodes, lots of pointless tv, and a little bit of working out. I didn't overdo the pumpkin pie or desserts this year, which was good and sad:( :) HA!

We've been having almost 40 degree weather and melting everywhere...odd and icy, but I'm fine with it because I'm inside 24/7! I have prided myself with not stepping foot off our property since Wednesday afternoon! WOO!

My clearheaded thoughts have been heading towards an all time greatest hits from my music world during my whole life. And then after getting overwhelmed with how many songs I really would have to put on it, I started dividing it into sections of life, then genres of music, then well, I just stopped. But don't worry it is still organized for me to go for little by little and enjoy as an ongoing hobby. LOVE IT!

My thoughts are also headed toward a Year in Review for 2007. I am thinking of some creative angles for mine this year - especially since I don't think I've done an official one for a year (or 2?).

Christmas lists and purchasing are swimming in fun formation around in my head and after Episode III and some knitting, I am coming back online to enjoy that pursuit!

Some pics of the world lately to follow tomorrow hopefully!

Snow falls frantically and we are somehow watching The Day After Tomorrow? I rented The Matchmaker (Irish fun) and some Greek Isle vacation independent film movie - quick review to follow after the weekend.

Thanksgiving is around the next few weekend corners and that is a good, good thought.

Anyone seen that Citi credit card where the dad and son go live it is up in Norway only to find out they are Swedish. That would be a fun mistake to make, but I already know I'm Swedish.

One more week of preseason ridiculous, uncontrollable (by the coach) bball drama with no accountability to players. After thanksgiving, I can more easily bench them, run them, make them quit. Are these really my thoughts and plans this second. Well yes, and well the season will be a blast once it gets rolling!

School has been uneventfully ready to be skipped by me so I can take a teacher test in Anchorage next week. One I have to pass to get recertified in Alaska. One I have not studied for. :)

What's going on in your worlds!?
