PLAYING TENNIS! YES! GOTTA LOVE IT!

I'm on my way to Jenny Mavis' where we will enjoy hanging out with her twin girls, and then go play tennis!

Already played tennis today too with Casey's mom and Amanda.

MOM (Edwards!) you need to play tennis this weekend with Dad and I! Okay!? :)

Tomorrow is Thursday already! Ahhhh! And we'll go to Casey's arm doctor then back to beegee so mom and I can shop all of Columbus ---while getting a Land Rover checked up.

Have a great day my family and friends!!

Tuesday, and that's 4 days of no bloggo.

Back in Defiance, and it's Amanda's birthday. Cake and family festivities have been had, and now not much.

Today was very cool b/c I went to Bobbi Jo Bieber's to see her cutie 3 month old son!

She doesn't work, and just watches her baby for life now! EXCELLENT!

Tomorrow I'm heading to Jenny Mavis' and hopefully my other two pals can join. Plus beegee'er sometime (?) this week.

We leave in one full week! And that is wonderful! Oh and Saturday we're having a party here at Casey's parents! Woo! Hopefully some of my pals can come out!

Oh, and it has been fun being in bg with mom and dad! Just me and them, and then dating Casey from Defiance! HA!

more to come...

p.s. There's an "F. Lungstrum" in Missouri and a "Justin Lungstrum" in Brooklyn, NY.

Justin, is that your pseudo existence? And I imagine the "F" stands for Fruit in the first name. Good idea on the initial b/c that would be embarrasing to list in the white pages.

Mom and I are looking up her cousin in California and have already found 38 Lungstrum's! HA!

Anyways, it's been really cool and fun hanging out with you Justin. I'VE MISSED YOU! See ya when you get back from Colorado. checkyall

Dear people who don't play frisbie golf: Get a disc and get out there!

Especially Matt and Trace (not kidding either Trace). In fact here's some SanD courses: Morley Field & Mission Trails. For more realities and disc purchasing go here :)

http://www.pdga.org/course_usa_map.php & http://www.innovadiscs.com

Or go to Falcon House, HA!

Okay so we saw Seabiscuit and it was a movie. Nice and cheesy; just a story. Yet touching at some points.

TOTAL AGREEMENT TO JUSTIN ON THE PASSION. WHOA WOW!

Seeing the preview chokes me up, and you're telling me there's a full movie entirely on our Lord!? YES!

"Having a putter is dumb, b/c you have to deal with different weights of the disc"

That quote from some kid at the frisbie golf course out at Carter Park. Of which Justin and I thought, "no I like the putter and the driver discs both"

So going frisbie golfing yesterday with Justin was really cool. I shot 14 over or something bad like that, and J shot only 1 over, which is very cool.

Maybe we could go this late afternoon b/c I'm staying here while Case and his daddio hit the Detroit game.

Next blab: Mom, dad, and I, and Case and his dad will hopefully go to the Detroit game tomorrow night!

So my birthday time with the Mary's fam was great. We got some pizza and breadsticks, and mom's cake was mmm, mmm, good!

Some gifts were a picture frame and album (with cool "Go North" outdoorsy theme), a very fun cd mix made by dad, a finder's gift cert. for 20.

Plus earlier, I got an AWESOME BUG QUILT from mom ---to be used with our first child in the year 2020! HA! And don't forget a Jim Thome shirt and Akron zips.

Welp, today: Seabiscuit or Spy Kids 3, organizing offices, maybe tennis (even though I played 4 huge sets of tennis yesterday in total), maybe frisbie golf :)

Looking forward to tonight!

Tracey your blog was refreshing today! Thanks!

A hilarity from Justin's new movie page: Actress needed: "Must be willing to do own stunts." hahahahaha

Thanks everyone AND! Hannah's mother for the bday wishings!

Hey Michelle, I think I've gotten it from you before, but what is your snail mail addy?

Soon I would like to send a plumb cd to your liking! (you can email that anytime to casemare@yahoo or I can get it from trace perhaps. whenev.)

Today, Case has an MRI on his shoulder to see if it has healed the last 2 years (ligament treatment, etc.)

I guess this is a final step to giving him full confidence in a pitching career pursuit.

Thank God insurance is all good for this, otherwise...

DO YOU KNOW WHAT AN MRI cost!? HAahhahahahaha, I know I don't really care either, but it would be like 1200 buckaroos.

Right now: On my way to beegee!

Pirates!

It was good enough. Obviously, set up for a sequel. And yeah, just enjoyable and no necessita "movie review" por favor.

What?

So, it was a good birthday. Slept in, went running, played tennis, ate a good enchilada meal by Chef Casey, oh and gifts!

I got a huge square block of a luggage thing for organizing scrapbook stuff. Cool!

Plus a journal & some cool little surf picture frames ---of which need to be filled with hilarious attempts to body or real surf by me y familia members perhaps.

peace out punks!

26 years old whoa!

Today after a healthy (overcast day) sleep in, I went to the DC track and ran a bit. And I remembered one time when we had to run the mile for bball in 6 (mins) and :10.

THIS WAS AT 6 IN THE MORNING before classes!!!!

So we're all (the team) comatosedly running and trying not to think we're running, then I trip on the track guard thing that has no business being on the edge of the smallest inside lane of the track.

Apparently, I yelled "Oh worst" and just got back up as quick as possible. AND FINISHED THE MILE IN 6:08!

Never again did I run the mile that fast.

So I went to the gym and saw two large team pics in the gym lobby of our 1st two years of 25-0! WOW! Whatta crazy life and sporting those days were.

I miss those dayz.

Well, it was fun to read some blogs today. The main plan for today is to see Pirates! Will report later :)

Tuesday, July 22, 2003

Suppose to pick Amanda up from the airport tonight, but she can't fly in till tomorrow.

Bad weather everywhere! But Casey and I actually love the rain!

Can't beat 24/7 sunshine in chow ---but no beach?----...so we've missed the soothing rain sound and coolness of the air.

Tomorrow Casey and I will have a day together, and prob see Pirates (with his fam?). Then it's BG Thurs. morn w/ you 1040s.

I'm excited to hang with Jenny and Melissa, maybe Pete sooner or later. Plus TV (theresa penny), and the bghs gang all respectively timed.

Sure thing to Justin's "One Note Friend" or whatever the wording ----but okayly enjoyable still b/c all my friends are like married now and that's something in common..? okay then.

Sleeping in was superb.

Now in Dtown, and looking forward to birthday sillies the rest of the week!

This humidity! That's all on that topic.

We still have 2 more weeks, and I really want to hit San Diego Aug. 6th till Matt and Trace head up the coast.

Not sure if that can happen though.

Yesterday mom showed up with a cool "Car-i-okee" book that Casey and I will surely force our children to endure. Basically it's a few little lyric books and a cd of funny sing along songs.

Finally I got an Akron shirt ----yellow just saying "Akron Zips", and that was fun to get. Thanks dad! I had fun all weekend with just you and me!

More to come.

Saturday, July 19, 2003

The Cincinatti trip was a good solid one. We saw 3 homeruns back to back to back in the first inning (by the astros) ---matt maybe see that on ESPN.

Here's a funny that you all can know if you see this film Justin brought home:

Picture this (dad and justin will only get it): "Two finger, inch measurement."

So today was a good day in all with just my dad, and a small time with Casey and his friend Josh.

NOW WAIT A MINUTE TRACEY!!?#kkasjdfkawl;e you know that was a cheap shot on the luggage diagraming, HA!

A good one though!

Not sure why this is short! But just continuing the real life enjoyment --no priority to report on it :)

TOMORROW GRAMPS TIME!

An interesting idea today as discussed at the Sanford's: "why even try....to live a good life, be good, help others....."

In a negative way it's a NO HOPE life outlook. It doesn't matter, so why try?

In a real way though, it's like YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO TRY! You're suppose to let Jesus reign in you, b/c we are from the world it is only in Him that we are anything.

Too much me me memememememme society, that I let be analyzed sometimes. Thank God I'm not staying in this world, but I surely do enjoy it while I'm here (to a point).

"Nothing compares to" being in His kingdom for eternity though. Yeah quotes were put around partially to give credit to Sinead O'Conner's song. HAhahhahahahhahahaaha.

Just got done playing tennis with dad! I PLAYED HORRIBLE! Just dumb, dull tennis ----perhaps that's how non-tennis players see the game anyways.

But nothing beats a sweet drop shot for your oppent to whiff at while it spins backwards to the net. YEAH!

Off to shop and relax a little with a steak n shake shake and pick j up in Detroit. And mom it's been fun reading yours!

Thursday, July 17, 2003

Stolen quote of feeling today: "the world can wait-over the rhine" (from Tracey's blog).

Just feeling the relaxing big time!

And Tracey maybe the new insect you heard was a bunch of rattle snakes!?! Ahhhh!

Mom, glad you're there safely and truly out of control on the seat cover! OH MY!

Today, we all got up WAY TOO EARLY, at 8 am and went to Maumee for a doctor's visit (for casey and amanda).

Casey wanted to see if there was any new damage to his arm and ligaments that were repaired 5 years or so ago. All seemed good, but the same deterioration from pitching so much was there, so he'll rehab during his throwing workouts this school year.

We ate at Boston Market and OH MY! Sweet potatoes were SO amazing, I mean SO so so GOOOOOOD! I've missed them, and one we went to in Cali did not have sweet potatoes.

What's that about?

Dad, I'll be there around noon, callyasometime.

Tennis is in "T minus" 20 minutes here with Mom and Dad Sanford and maybe Amanda.

Does anyone know what "T minus" really means?

We're hoping to spend time with Trish and her fam, but we can't till later ----then she goes on a vaca...we'll swim at her quaint cool little pool tonight (9ft deep, diving pool, slide, and fun!).

We booked a flight for August 5th 7 pm ish: Toledo to San Jose, and we're renting a one way car to get home that night at midnight. SO FUN! (to be here that long I mean).

So we'll leave the car here no matter whether they buy it or not, but most likely "buy it" rings true.

Ham sandwich time! peace and dad I'll talk to you tomorrow prob :)

The trees at 1040 are disappearing!

Casey's dad and mom came over and we worked on that till 10 pm, what a cup of tea that wasn't for the women! HA! Jk, it was fun watching the tree "TIMBER!" down slowly and so dramatically.

Well, tomorrow Mom goes to Cheryl's as we all know and we go back to hang in d-town.

This weekend will be a blast! SONIC before a Reds and Astros game. Then a surprise to gramps!

Mike almost blew the surprise, well acutally I almost did. I answered a call from gramps and then just mumbled my way to give mike the phone.

SO gramps was hilarious like, "heh, what...or hi mike, was that your girlfriend?"

Mike replies, "No that was mary, she's here .....kdjaslfkds (MIKE HEY! in the back ground from all of us!).....oh wait no gramps that was just someone."

Funny to watch unfold.

Last topic: still need to see Pirates, play tennis w/ dad, and cut the quilt out with mom-mo!

Softball defeat tonight, but way overshadowed by the fun had playing.

Casey super-fastly whipped his arm around and batted almost hitting one out his first at bat.

Dad and I got to play right next door, him at first and me at 2nd. That was way cool, and we almost had two double plays.

Highlight of the game: Dad and I moving up the middle for an (old bghs coach of mine) to trick hit our way. And the dude did, meanwhile dad ran over and covered first just in time for the put out from me assisting.

Very cool, I guess you had to be there to understand the quality of play on that one!

SO MIKE IS OFF! He's out of control pumped and I'm sure going to live it up! So cool!

What else, what else to report. Mom and I are going to cut out the beginnings of our Moose Quilt, and then I will miss her on her trip----but that will be a good trip to Cheryl's :)

Saturday Dad and I are going to Cinci to an astros game with Sonic on the way taboot (wish J could be here). Plus, Casey will meet up with us after spending some time at his friend's in Dayton.

Time for sleepy. Tennis, quilts, and tree cutting down tomorrow. Whatta great summer!

Sunday, July 13, 2003

Currently on Village Drive hiatus, we're here for a chainsaw pick up and other errands in this Defiance place.

It has been very very awesome relaxing at 1040, and I wish we didn't have to break up the DQ visits, but alas:

We have to get our Jeep sold to his dad! WOO! Go to Casey's travel agent friend so we can get back somehow someway, but who's caring about getting back?

Today I went to BGCC and really enjoyed the colorful worship and inspiring Harmon Parker. All the more reaffirming our monthly support to his ministry. Wow!

Mom and I went to Joann's and got all the goods for her gift to us in a "Moose lap quilt". Can't wait to cut it out tomorrow, or Tues.

I'd like to take J's Mini to DQ right now but I'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Also, tomorrow: DAD vs. MARY! TENNIS!

NO WAY!

Here's a list of people who received the highest quality of a July Fools' Day present: Mom & Dad Sanford, Jesse, Trish, Mark, Ashley, Sam, Joan Christine, Bruce Lee, and Babe the cat. (plus a side dish of syblings knowing from each family)

CASEY AND I ARE IN NORTHWEST OHIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whimsical, out of control, spur of the moment craze in our brains for such a decision.

Got in Wed. late at Defiance, then on Thurs, pulled off a Village Drive surprise package X2, one to Bruce, one to Joan who had the late night quilters meeting.

Now about Anchorage and Alaska: EXCELLENT! And will do with the move next summer.

And...96 hours in that Canadien country: could do without.

This is all sooooo........WORTH IT! AND I WISH MATT AND TRACE WERE HERE! (actually it seems like you guys are just going to walk in any second!:(

Some song from third grade to quote: "Ain't no (chowchilla school work) body gonna slow me down .....oh know...I've got to keep on movin'"

later with thoughts on the Alaska intrigue! We'll be in this state for 3 or so weeks ...JUST B/C WE CAN!

(ps it's almost 7 in the morning ----Mike, Case, and I are still up just chillin -----ohp, dad is getting up for work for real right now!??! HA!

Tuesday, July 01, 2003

Um.....guess who's at the University of Alaska Anchorage student center using the internet FOR FREE!?

Yeah, it's about time. My fingers are going crazy in reunion to the computer! AWESOME!

Anyways, I don't have much time, b/c we haven't even gotten to explore Anchorage very much yet (arriving yesterday after an all nighter of driving).

Right now we're going to find out about UAA grad programs for mare, and Casey needs a couple ed classes from their distance learning yeahyo.

Then in a couple hours we're eating at an original Alaskan Gold Mine restaurant! Excellent!

It's a beautiful state, I tell you what, and Anchorage is surrounded by mountains and sunshine! YES!

Gotta run, more to come I hope!
