A lovely talk with the mom and dad tonight ----and the in-laws called b/c they were at the Mud Hens game!

And dad, I told them you were there (last night) and they got all excited ready to go find you BUT you know, on the wrong notion.

Welp, just wanted to write some last minute excitements for our trip. If we get our campstove in the mail we'd like to head out tomorrow afternoon.

Matt and Trace...a congrats to you or what :)

2 days till lift off, Alaskan style!

It's pretty boring here in Chow ----TOO MUCH TV!

I find that tv (and the internet sometimes) completely drains my entire brain cells and any creativity entirely!

Right now I'm listening the About a Boy sdtrk from dad! Thanks for Mary Fahl and Michael Edwards music too! That was a fun anniversary delivery.

What to do, what to do right now.....I guess I'll officially pack my clothes and books. I plan to read and write a lot on this trip. No distractions.

We are pumped! That's all for this low-key blog.

Oh but I wanted to tell mom that I love her very much, and I appreciate every single ounce of her mothering!

I read your blog, and I want you to know I still truly value your points of view on life. You have taught me so much, especially to trust God and love your family. You have taught me how to accept people no matter what.

When we move to Alaska you and dad will have to spend 2 months with us. Relaxing, sewing, sipping coffee by a fire.

Then when we get property on Hawaii. You'll have to spend 2 months with us there too. I MISS YOU!

Much deserved sleep in TODAY! The in-laws are headed east and it was a very nice 2 weeks with!

Now that totally stinks about Bob Bark you LA travelling peeps!

Sunday we're planning to drive up to Oregon ----Eugene--ish, to camp our first night of the "Trip North". YES!

Has anyone seen the movie Rat Race with Seth Green, John Lovitz, Whoopi whoever her name? It's pretty funny and lighthearted.

I watched part of it at Casey's cousins ---his Aunt owning it and loving it. So I will rent it later in life.

Enough blabbing. We didn't go to Yosemite today, b/c we wanted to save time and money getting ready for AK.

Hope the Sanford's got home and are resting soon by now! bb

Matt, I SO SAID THE SAME THING TO MY IPOD this week.

I finally did random as well, and what could be better than having every single album you've ever been into be mixed all together!

Funny!

You should come to our timeshare tonight ---but now it's 6 pm and we're still at the uncle's. Sounds like you had some sweet options.

I should have had them drop me off for Reggie or whoever or the new Wahoo's! Oh well, in July or August sometime~!

Also, Justin! Excellent plan of production! YES!

No Bob Barker for me,mare. But TRACEY, RYAN, & MICHELLE will live it up and win BIG!

So right now we are all 20 minutes from the "Ramona (town)" time share and at Casey's Uncles with all the cousins.

Let's just say I'm not ready to give birth to anyone age 6 or above. WHOA! I guess since Mike is my youngest sybling and I haven't had to deal with any youngies in so long.....yeah.

It's been a fun week and a 1/2. And now it's time to kayak on the valley floor of Yosemite for only $13. And Alaska Sunday or Monday.

Dad if you send that box and think it will get here Monday, We'll wait for it :)

Not much else, just pumped for the next 2 months OFF! checkya

OH MY! It's summer people!!!!!

Last night we were sitting in our Lake Tahoe time share, supplied by the Sanford in laws. AND I SAW A BIG BEAR HEAD RIGHT BY CASEY'S HEAD OUTSIDE THE WINDOW!

I saw it for a brief second and was like, wait a minute, what?!!

I got up and paced one or two paces and was trying to get the words out: "Oh my...there's a either a huge dog head....or.....a bear was just outside the window ......right there!!!"

Everyone was in the living room and was like, what yeah right. It took me and them a minute to figure out the reality and we all jumped up & looked out the window.

Sure enough it was meandering quickly up the hill by our window. CRAZY! AWESOME! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

Anyways, we are in Chow a little early this week (thursday), coming back from Tahoe (obviously).

We'll go to Yosemite and chill a couple days, then Sat. or Sun. we're driving to Romana (?) north of San Diego to another time share.

Casey's uncle lives in Vista --so we shall vizzzsta'a (visit) them! Miss you all---I miss blogging :)

"More to come..." quote from the Johnny Carson Show that I would always watch with Grandma Edwards in that Akron bedroom of hers.

p.s. Matt keep reaching for that feeling of creativity and movement in your dreams! Mom WE HAVE ANTS TOO! And I'm praying for Cheryl ---you should go down there, can I go to? Dad no gifts, just love.

What's interesting today?

9 out of 21 students are failing my 6th period English.
Next year I'm supposedly teaching 3 English I's, plus 2 standarized test prep classes.
Imagine finger gagging down the throat of me.hee, hee -----WHERE'S THE P.E.?!

GOTTA FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO IN LIFE! Sort of....

I really love the planning, stability, & organizing of teaching, some of the fun units, and kids are great in real life but not with English.

I'll take this though:4 hours and 21 minutes of high school students to go!

Tonight then, "24 (minus 10) wide mouth Mike's" sounds good. YES!

Hey, I've been ripping my entire cd collection for the 60 hour drive in 2 weeks. IPOD time!

And Matt, I've only had time to get into the White Stripes cd, but Travoltas and coldplay are next to get into to.

Mom, I say hang onto the JEEPY :) b/c I love it and it deserves love in keepage.

Mike, I like your new song, especially the last one fourth of it--slower guitar, I absolutely love.

Yah mom blogged! I miss you mom! YOU KNOW I want to be doing that fabric dying with you! MAN, and wendy got to?!?

Will you be selling any fabric later ----or perhaps after you get more kits or such? I was going to get Casey's fabric going for his "t-shirt" quilt this weekend, but I decided that would be overwhelming.

Overwhelming b/c his parents will be here in 4 days, then we are doing that Northern Exposure trip. So this Fall I plan to scrapbook and quilt.

Won't you please drive Jeepy out to us? I wish :(

Tracey and Dad I enjoyed your blogs tonight ---already caught everyone else's.

AND JUSTIN! EXCELLENT fun looking at your England inspiration. I also love that new Astros sportage.

This weekend was nice. Low key, so low key that I slept 15 hours Friday night into Saturday. Heh :) It's a gift many of us know.

Well, we're being dorks and planning out our Alaskan dream home ----interesting to see your comments mom on that open house. How dumb were those people with bathrooms?

Wait a minute, here's a question for 1040-ians. Did you accidentally TAKE MARY'S BRUSH!?! If so, how and why?!

Just kidding, but it has been missing since March.

Hey, also I played a fun soccer game this morning after praising the Lord on the way to the game (14 minute Madera, Ohio drive ---yet not Ohio).

We won 4-0 and I ran around in circles with my head cut off. Now that's fun :)
