Wow, wow, wow! It's Friday and my family is going crazy buying awesome new cars!

That was such a fun phone chat last night from the new owners too :)

Speaking of cars, a lady from school is coming over Saturday to check my bug out in detail and really make her decision.

Two cars join a people's life, and one is about to leave mine. I am saddened, but realize the lease is hindering more than help. Glad I got to own it 2+ years.

And Justin a 3 year lease with that coolness of a car & mileage is great. Then you can get an even cooler car --your dream Saab! ---maybe the mini is way cuter than Saabey though :)

ps. has anyone else had slow issues with blogspots coming up for read? takes forever, or can't find webpage!

A nice, hot day, not too busy too. Hard to concentrate, as you can imagine.

Today there was a funeral so lots of the kids are absent.

Other than that, juuuuuuuust looooooking forward to the next 3 months. UNBELIEVABLE!

Letting everything go, no worries, just Casey, some reading/journaling, the outdoors....AHHHhhhhhhhh! CAN'T WAIT

Just had a good weekend with Matt and Tracey. They made pretty good time driving Friday night, and Saturday we hit the b..e...a..utiful Yosemite (already with the quote, ha!)

We did not camp, and probubly good though b/c too crowded and cold at night up there.
But we hung out, relaxed, and went to Bruce Almighty. I liked it!

Matt brought me a bunch of cds, which rocks! And Sonic was our best friend with the aide of Matt's craving!

School tomorrow, but what's school with 8 fake days of school left? Can't wait to hear about Justin's trip. Miss you all!

A sad, eerie day here at CUHS. A senior guy student (seemingly well known) got killed in a car accident last night.

We did not know him, but the campus is silent. Please take a minute to pray for the family and friends.

I imagine the Lord would say this to us, as opposed to hippies telling us to live wrecklessly everyday or whatnot.

SO WEIRD! There's a girl from Bowling Green, Ohio on the new Road Rules (MTV)!

Still not a good reason to watch the reality drama, but way weird to catch just now on the tele!

I think she's just a college kid at BGSU, but still BOWLING GREEN, OHIO!? Not Kentucky, not at a bowling green course in England!?

Crazy! And I'm sure she'll represent the wild side college personality well -----that gets old people of America! grow up really.

Ooops, an older young adult venting there agst the side of disgustingness this secular America indulges in.

Just thought someone might find this info weird and kinda neat like I did.

It will be a lot cooler to see a Lexington or San Diegoan on the Price is Right though!

Mom, there's a couple choice pictures behind the one in your cheesy momday gift.

Softball banquet tonight, would like to rent "Fallen" with Denzel Washington, but maybe I won't want to go camping after it.

Anyone seen that? List of movies I want to see: Minnie driver one (can't remember the name), Bruce Almighty, Dumb and Dumberer (Joon 13), Mighty again, Matrix reloaded, xmen 2, still Bend it Like, City of God, Holes..

Alas, renting these all fall will more be the method. Have a great Monday my friends and fam!

"...most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare" ---is it So I Married? Do tell Matt, & I'm pumped to check thestart.

Koufax, Los Gatos? ---it's near Santa Cruz...is there another in Frezzzzno. Would love to see 'em!

Outta the boxes cocoon I am! Spent all fair day off at work for extra pay to box up the classroom o' mine.

Mom are you watching the 1040 PO box?

Dad check out "Real", "Walk Away", & #1 for me "Nice, Naive..". You'll see what I mean by...Saturday...hopefully no later!

Trace, have you gone thru the above mentioned and moved onto bigger and better muzac?
Side thought: Mike when will you graduate? Is it before reg. 4 years is up? And I say Seattle dude!

Forgot to write about seeing A Mighty last Sat! I thought the "Wha' happen'" was the funniest (as J referred to today).

Need to see it again to appreciate more and more of it!

Bend it Like Beckham is still in Fresno, but...it's a video rental, I presume sadly.

Chrissy from Three's Company went to high school in Fresno, betcha didn't know that. (I watched an episode yesterday)

HEY--WE'RE GOING CAMPING THURSDAY and FRIDAY! NOT attending the Chowchilla Fair.

YES!

It'll be the same campground as what Matt and Trace and us'll hit up, Mem weekend.

Are you guys up for Bruce Almighty that weekend too? Tahoe Joe's steaks?

You'll be real wasted that week of work anyways, let's live it up!

Message time:
Michelle, I have a strong feeling from the Barkers that you'll be on stage!
Mike is music your strongest pursuit in life...or everything productioned too?
Dad, sounds like hard work, but fun to be the expertised one! Have a safe trip back.
What mom, no shipshe report, again?
J ----You dawg! Have fun with the Brits--&--Underground!

Blazing soccer in the sun yesterday.
I'm on a 16 and up team ---where 50 year old women play on the other teams.
We won!
13 days, plus half day exams! YES!
A good chat with my mother yesterday!
No softball, and the fair this week ---2 days off!
Coooooooasting big time.

Justin, I'm proud of you!

Unbelievable, how I haven't posted since Tuez...and SOFTBALLLLLLL IS OVER!!!!!!!!!

We won tonight, and if the top team lost to another good team tonight, we are cochamps for the little JV league. If not we'll be the only sport not to win league this spring. :(

Tonight, I got back from my game and went to play Bunko. I'm not sure but this seems to be like a game Tricia Wulff's mom played back in the day ----and we'd all go, "Bunko, what in the world is that weirdness?".

But its really fun with rolling three dice trying to get yahtzee like things in partners. Best part: you can win up to $30. Only bad thing: I haven't won yet (you put $10 in each (once a) month to play).

Does Tricia read this? Whattan eavesdropper if so! HA! jk'in you wulffmeister!

And does Timbrook really think I would conform to such a farm, donkey basketball playing town like Chow?

Sure let pig, sheep, and dairy lovers live it up here! But I myself, simply coexist pretending I don't hear my players talking about how you have to check the cow's colon with your hand.

GROSS! EWWW! DISGUSTING! MARY WHY DID YOU DISCUSS SUCH!?

Other tidbits:
Mike hope you get the job.
What mom, no shipshe details? Happy pre mom day!
Michelle that's great you're having a girl! Did you guys care what she would be?

Dad! CHANTAL May 11 - Toledo, OH @ Headliners! YOU GOING!?

"You're my One thing!" ---Rich Mullins

Monday, May 05, 2003

Dad, I like the burnt orange blog best. And I looked at the links for your Rovers.

I say the convertible freelander for myself, but...the new range rover is so cute.

It all depends if you want to have better and bigger room with the discovery though. Oooooo...those are neat cars. I'm so happy you're finally getting one! WOO!

ps that's sad about no Aeroes game. I still have a t-shirt from the game we went to. Awesome! And we saw Jim Thome at the Mud Hens that one time didn't we--or was that Aeroes too?

HA! Michelle! Great memories that's for sure. Very good descriptions....brings me right back to it. The funniest description was being next to "heaven's metal tent". CRAZY PEOPLE THERE!

But yes the water and air matress incident (as described by Tracey too) was so funny! A canoed reprimand....pa--lease!

Justin live the lime light up! That's alliteration. Wish we could celebrate with you in person.

8 days a week, then 9 days a week, then exam week, yeah right to the last week! We're OUT SOOooooo SOOooooon!

Matt and Trace, what do you think about not this weekend, but next May 16th for a viz?

Memorial day for sure would be fine. Up to you, and fast approaching. We'd love to have ya here!

Found out last night that Casey's fam got a time share in San Diego for the week of June 15-21! Wooo! That's their second week here in cali, and they end up having to fly out the Thursday, offering up a couple days for us to stay the rest of the time share out.

Very cool! Off to teach poetry! My last stand for effortful lessons. I can't believe I put the 5 hours that I did into it. It'll be fun though!

We're having a coffee shop at the end of the unit, and I'm showing the beginning of So I Married an Axe Murderer to show them what one goes like.

The kids share some of their poetry up front and we drink hot chocolate in a dimly lighted fun. clicking our fingers instead of clapping, HA! -later.

Mike's new song --AWESOME!

Talked to a Santa Monican Matt tonight ---AWESOME!

A nice Saturday night. I'm getting coldplays new album right now. outya

DAD! My blog looks great thanks! I need to take a small tutorial from you on putting the pics (use your hints from that one email). I really like the Africa background, so subtle and there, and a CHOW PIC!

And mom have you been letting dad onto yours? Wowee! Have fun at Shipshewana, I'm jealous! Also, dad that C.S. Lewis weblink I looked at today from your blog is great!

Matt I want to catch Owning Mohoney too, yet I'm a minnie driver fan for it :)

Trace your thoughts on the last weeks of college hit right on target with my memories. "so fake studying outside was taking place, but actually people watching or laying out".

Just one of the absolute, unbelievably ridiculous care free moments of our lives. Where you feel so freeeeeeee!! The best part is, similarly you can simulate that every school year of teaching too! YES!

As for plumb, I hear ya. She always seemed to have a bit of country in her in my notice of last album, but you're so right on more "contemporary Christian". It was nice to break my "no new music" syndrome with it, but now I'm onto Chantal Kreviazuk's new one ---

Did you/anybody know she's married to the lead singer of OurLadyPeace?! Crazy, and cool! Must be the Canadien connection on that.

Side note: I'm remembering a quote from Justin, about Notwist I think, Notwist having such a unique sound, you wonder why noone in the Christian music industry is pioneering whatsoever in UNIQUENESS! ---or are they so undiscovered?---well I think the same on Plumb's mainstreamness.

Mike I read that whole great divorce you posted if you can believe it. I have picked up that book many times, but often get lost in the small lettering and wording (it's my visual learning defect, ha!).

Thanks for the reality checks it brought about. And hey 1040s I have a box ready to send to you all....but...just watch for it. peace out we're going to see X2 b/c nothing else is really that good over here.
