Dear my people:

I know, I know you've all been trying to call all night and it's non-stop busy. Right?

Jk, the phone rings like once a week here, if that, and we are fiiiiiiiine by that hermitville life.

So I've been online all day just b/c I can. With a long weekend, I've vowed to do whatever comes to my head. Mostly involving organizing scrapbook materials and cleaning house.

Ahhhh, it is good to give thanks to the Lord! Just showered up and after blogging, I'll hit the sleep area to journal and watch a funny western with David Arquette (on the history channel).

Meanwhile, if you're bored check out these websites of things Casey and I are going for this fall:

1. http://www.jambajuice.com/community/events.html (a hilarious 5k run)
2. http://www.muddybuddy.com/ (now this is a reason to live out here!)
3. http://www.flugtagsf.com/ (same weekend as #2)

Side notes: I'm soooo...pumped! and Matt and Trace (or anyone) you're more than welcome to attend, but the driving would stink.

Also, we're dreaming of a truck as the VW fades off into sellage --we hope @ least. Maybe this: http://www.dodge.com/dakota/index.html?context=homepage&type=top or http://www.dodge.com/ram_truck/index.html?context=dakota-index&type=top

p.s. Hope you don't think I'm dissing VW, b/c my 1977 convertible blue or red bug with white door paneling will one day be mine :) When we have property on the big island that is!

FRIDAY! FRIDAY! and PAYDAY!

Okay so I just wrote a whole blog and it slopped itself away. You know there are times when you seriously don't push a thing, and then BLAMO! It's gone!

So I already blabbed this, now it gets cut in half. Please pardon all the abbrev's :)

I was saying how proud I was for recognizing a Modest Mouse "2 second-song" clip on this random Nissan Quest minivan commercial.

Wooo! So I checked the Modest music I nibbed freely from Jae's comp. And it's called "Gravity Rides Everything". So cool when that happens.

I'm excited about: this long weekend, no school, dad's bday (YES!), having Costco fill our cupboards with the month's food supply, and....

I'm excited about still having my monthly "$ allowance" in tact after 3 hours from receivage.

Casey, however can't say the same, b/c a PS2 Madden purchase occured. HA!

So matt that guy you described from Subway is totally the hilarious quickie mart dude from Ghost World. You should have asked for a picture of the poster behind him, yet took one of him really. Okay, not.

Agreement on SanFran being a great place. And I was wondering how you went through Fresno on Highway 5?

TRACEY! About Ben and Brad's blog hilarity, I'll just quote Spaceballs: "Foooooool Yoooooou!"

Have a great weekend everyone! (ps are pseudo peeps having a system down sitch....no viewage tonight from my comp.)

9:45 and all is well. Here's a lot of blab:

MTV VMA awards were quite stupid in my opinion. Despising much of that scene and ridiculous music junk ----it was easy to turn it off.

Today the students were finding out "personalities" so they can research a relative job to their qualities.

So I did one too and got the most points in MUSIC! It shocked me, even though the music obsession is such a truth.

I got the LOWEST IN SPATIAL, visual traits---learning style whatnots. (very shocking as well......considering......

A constant reminder from Trace on my SUITCASE diagramming episode that one trip back in the day!

HA! Anyways, matt your trip detail was a riot. Hilarious with the driftwood carrying work out.

And that's gotta be the pyro-man syndrome. The Casey has that pyro obsession as well, fixing, building, making bigger the flames even though we're going to sleep for the night.

Your trip descript inspires me to get to the coast this weekend!!! ANOTHER annoyance though ---my stupid $200 VW tags are up and have not arrived in the mail yet!??!?

This state of Cali. The wasteland of America in people and some of the land--ie central.

Yet the most beautiful place in the world that I want to explore right now.

Well, most beautiful backyard world to explore, let's not forget Alaska, Ireland, Maine, Iceland, and Australia.

Trips soon anyone!? If we don't move next summer, I'm thinking something great at the end of June or so. Have a great FRIDAY! WOO!

HALLELUJAH! MOM GOT A GOOD DOCTOR'S REPORT!

So we had "Back to School" night at school tonight. Teaching mostly freshman, TOO MANY FAMILIES SHOWED UP!

Jk, it was fun except for the very long, awkward silence after my "English spheel", and "Oh, so there are no questions?". Thank you, quit staring. Talk amongst yourselves now.

Please.

I'm pumped to read matt and mike's blogs now. Glimpsed at them, then "back to school night" called. Mom...already enjoyed yours!

Anything rockin' this long weekend for any friends or fam out there? (well Matt and Tracey have their peeps coming out) but anywho's else?

Us prob no, b/c the bug needs new tires, but we might have to rent a truck or something to take our NordicTrac back to San Jose.

We'll wear some flowers in our hair, don't worry.

Dad! 1 week and two days! YES!

Your birthday is hilarious b/c one of my troublesome students from this year and last year HAS THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS DAD! SO FUNNY! ----peace and love my hippie homies!

Chatted with Trace a minute, and I see online that you guys moved in today! I wouldn't have bothered (called) that explosion of moving if I had read it before :) Sorry about that. Happy organizing! YAHOO! I love organizing, yet we all know you can hate that.

It's YOUR home though!

So it was a good weekend. We saw Open Range:a solid movie. Yet way too many old people in that theater!

We also purchased (b/c we don't rent anymore): Punch Drunk Love, and Narc. PDL was weird and interesting, I liked it. I didn't watch Narc, and from what Casey said it seems to be a guy movie which I won't watch.

Justin can I know your new snail mail address? Have a good rest of your Sunday everyone! And mom/dad (Justin earlier) good to chat as well :)

Friday!? OH MY GOOD GOD THANK YOU!

There's a funny country song I keep hearing (with anger pointed to Casey's influence with that...that...music).

But the funny country guy talks about some dirt road he found Jesus on!

YAH! I like You Jesus. Okay, I love you so much!

So I was reading my Orson Scott Card Rebekah novel where she and her servant maids were imagining the Lord with all these other universe's around each star we see at night!

WHOA! WHOA! We are only but small on this earth, in this universe. Even if He has other children on other planets!--- I am grateful to be loved here and now, and for eternity.

So today a frosh Eng. I girl (in my class) said she loves God, b/c He rocks! It was so fun(ny) to hear from only her all day in a "Me Collage" presentation.

Oh so, this is where kids endlessly tell about their favorite game boy and game cube games via collage.

Oh, "and...I love fashion, talking on the phone, and pizza".

I really like all my kids so far! Very cool blessing Lord, You sneaky Lord You!

Too much....

I've not blogged as you know.

Last night I slept 6-6.

What's going on with you mom? Is it like what Cheryl had? And no Thanksgiving or anything?

We aren't coming home for Christmas b/c the Varsity bball coach scheduled a JV tournament. Not a Varsity one, a JV one!!

I miss summer. And I miss you all.

Let me tell ya:

Room 110 is complete. Lotsa dusting took place. Now, copies, copies, copies.

OPENING DAY, MONDAY, AUGUST 18!

Working on a package for 1040 :) As well as a couple letters that got the shaft b/c of work? HORRIBLE RUDENESS!

Here's some thought as I am totally immersed (or emersed?) in SCHOOL:

That was the best month of any vacation ever! With my family! With old friends!

Again: Whattan amazing capability of a teacher and getting the summer off!

Now will my luck with grad school/teaching work out like that! IT'S MY GOAL!

Otherwise, I really want to get certified in P.E.!

Now, I'm just blabbing. It's almost 10:30 p.m. and I'm hanging on by a thread, with all the working thoughts there could be.

But praise God for a work ethic that I've never had till after college. Love you all! And hey Mike or Justin email about your days lately, or just blog 'em!

Wednesday, August 13, 2003

"I'll tell ya how to cyclops rock..."!

Awoke to TMBG's lyrics,...and we're off to schoooooooooool RIGHT NOW!

Thank God it's only a 2 minute drive; required for optimum sleep-in.

Will report later!

Monday, August 11, 2003

Went to school today and it was weird. WEIRD TO BE DONE WITH SUMMER, that is.

Otherwise, we're looking forward to knowing everyone and starting a fresh year. It's a lot nicer for Casey b/c he's been to a new school every year, so going back to the same one is cool.

Gonna lay out, finish organizing, and maybe (not) work on school stuff!

Brook Mavis (the mom, not the twin daughter): I got your letter! THANKS! As soon as my letter/scrapbooking junk is organized you're the first to receive!

p.s. to Joan Edwards: I'm excited for a certain moose quilt!

Yah, Justin and Mom blogged!

Sunday, August 10, 2003

The tornado house we moved back into is finally taking shape!

Just like Christmas it seems like we've "just" moved in again with bins, and bins, and bins of ....I guess it's stuff.

I worked all day delightfully on organizing the stuff, and am more excited about getting into detailed organizing.

So, in turn, I can tackle arts and crafts!

Okay, so people on HGTV get paid the big (or little) bucks as "Professional Organizers". But working with other people's junk?

Yeah, I like it still. But hey, it seems like I already wrote about this on blogger before.

Other than that all day, I threw (baseball) with Case, found out a special ed. teacher quit at Chow, and that my one teacher buddy has been sick for 7 weeks with an acute fever ---caused by dairies in the valley (virus).

Also, we're going to school tomorrow, and Casey has poison ivy!

Saturday, August 09, 2003

Saw Bend it Like Beckham today and I liked it. It, of course, reminded me of Monsoon, and that is good.

Dad did you know the main character "Jesse" will now be on ER?

So mom, I saw the fridge you want on tv today! Very cool, me wanty too. HA!

Justin, you might know this but the guitarist from Pearl Jam has Chrohn's and is an advocate of sorts for it?!

Well, Matt and Trace we're looking forward to a hang out! What hotel in San Fran we wonder? Will call you sooner this week! Peace!

Friday, August 08, 2003

I talked to mike today! He's going to gramps'! Such an amazing venture it seems he's had!

Very cool!

Oh, and who's going to blog sooner or later!? Besides Tracey and sort of Justin!?

I know it's summer still, SO LIVE IT UP!

Today was slobby as it should be, b/c school is near.

Lotsa sleep and nothing done :)

It was good though. And so was Casey's roasted chicken and potatoe soup.

What more could a tomboy want in a husband who could also be a great chef in some restraunt!

Wait did I just forget how to spell restaurant...? Wow, that looks foreign.

Right now I'm listening to Chantel, who has one of her songs in some really dumb Britney Murphy ridiculous movie.

And there's a sixpence song in a movie I just saw previewed...can't remember which.

Justin, I hope City of God comes around here again!

So, Matt & Tracey we'll let you know soon about the meetage, most likely in San Fran. We have school Wed-Fri.

And for those of you who've been to our Chow residence, I am now typing in our walk in closet OFFICE~~! HAHAHAHHAHA!

Thursday, August 07, 2003

Gotta new inspiration for a surround sound et system in our living room.

We have all the equipment, but it's never been set up.

Plus, our walk in closet is now an office, therefore a complete gym is in the back (big) room. :) Fun!

Sloppy news though is the Nordic Track is malfunctioning so we had to call someone to come out and fix it...will they show up!?

Wednesday, August 06, 2003

Words from Mary currently in Chowtown:

Flying was a little annoying ---like I've become accustomed to driving, I guess.

Seeing the coast and mountains made a totally refreshing impact on my outlook of California living.

Too high taxes, Chow not the coast, weird laws, lotsa weird people...?

So true to negatives, but I've decided to shuck all the negativity and embrace this existence in Cali.

How overworkedly taking for granted could it have been last year. That was rude to this beautiful state God made.

NOT THIS YEAR THOUGH! WOO!

This summer goes down in history as the all time best (complete) summer ever!

Oh there've been wonderous trips of true quality, but in an entirety (badspelling): 2003 SUMMER #1!

Well, right now Casey and I are putting together our NordicTrack Ellipitical, out of control high tech fitness machine, and unpacking.

It was so fun to get all our mail at once, with 95% shredded though. And now I will spend the last week of summer with the following things:

-rearranging three out of 6 rooms at 500 Orange, the hallway equally one of those.

-go to school and set up my NEW ONLY ROOM I HAVE! No more 4 different classrooms WOOOOOOOOOO! Room 110: Mrs. Sanford's Room.

-send Jeep cherokee seats to Defiance, OH.

-go shopping for more clothes! YES! and school supplies.

-perhaps a meet up with Matt and Tracey! I HOPE, I hope!

love you all, and thanks both families for a great summer, and hospitality.

My brother should be home tonight! Maybe some frisbie golf when he recovers from lack o' sleep?!

It was a grand reunion last night with some college friends. Plus mom and dad came, and the Timbrook parents should up! How random cool!

Uh...that was a fun, fun, time!

Anyways, today was low key, some visiting with my other friend Jenny Pitson. Sleeping in, and now a storm where I am risking the computer being blown up by lightning.

2 and a 1/2 more days in the homeland! It's time for school! Ahhhhh! And I already have 2+ weeks of lesson plans done!

Enough boring listing of events! More living to do tonight. Or really just beddie bye bye!

Saturday, August 02, 2003

The past two days: shopping in Columbus with mom, very fun (and tiring), watching Chocolat, playing tennis.

Recently: I experienced ghost poop. If you don't know what that is, oh well, laughs all around 1040 though.

God is good, Saturday night parties are good, and just living is good!

"If you're going to blame someone, blame me, I've corrupted him with cocoa!" ---from "Chocolat"
